Ownership of Sintonando
The name Sintonando, the logo (the wordmark with the tuning ruler and amber needle), the screen designs, texts, icons, animations and source code are works protected by Brazilian copyright law (Law 9.610/1998), the Software Law (Law 9.609/1998) and industrial property law, owned by Options Creative LTDA. All rights reserved.
Reproduction not permitted
Copying, reproducing, distributing, publicly displaying, modifying, reverse-engineering, translating or creating derivative works of any part of Sintonando, in whole or in part, by any means, without prior written permission from Options Creative is prohibited. This includes cloning the site or apps, reusing the design or brand in other products, and publishing the app in stores without authorisation. Infringements are subject to the applicable civil and criminal remedies.
Broadcaster content
Sintonando does not produce, host, store or rebroadcast radio programming. Streams are made public by the broadcasters on their own servers; the app merely points the listener’s device to those addresses, obtained from the public Radio Browser directory. Station brands, names and logos belong to the broadcasters and are shown only to identify them. The optional technical relay does not record, alter or store audio.
Removal requests (notice and takedown)
Broadcasters or rights holders who do not want a station listed in Sintonando, or who identify misuse of a brand or content, may write to contato@sintonando.com.br with: station name and stream address, proof of ownership and a contact. Legitimate requests are handled within 10 business days. Since listings come from Radio Browser, we recommend requesting removal there as well.
Third-party content
The Brazil map in the state picker is the work of the svg-maps project, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0; it was simplified for the app. The Bricolage Grotesque and Atkinson Hyperlegible Next typefaces are distributed under the SIL Open Font License.
